- Stable spot: Choose the north wall of a garage or a shaded shed; it gets less sun exposure.

- Thermal barriers: If local code requires, cover with OSB or fire-rated sheeting.
- Mount window A/C: On an exterior wall; recommended power ≈ 6,000 BTU per 200 cu ft.
